Seawall Point
This project is nestled on Seawall Point in Southwest Harbor, Maine. Energy efficiency was a major consideration in the design of this house. With double studded walls, spray foam insulation, triple pane windows, and the use of Geothermal heating and cooling, the efficiency of this house is incredible. The design was based on a neighboring family house that has been on Seawall Point for generations. Many of the design details resemble those of the existing cottage. This house is full of custom crafted built-ins. Quality craftsmanship is evident throughout the residence. Floors are constructed from Heart Pine timbers from a former local textile mill.
