Position Overview:
We are seeking qualified carpenters with experience in residential construction to join our team. As a carpenter with Nate Holyoke Builders, you’ll work on architecturally designed custom homes, utilizing your skills to execute fine craftsmanship and precise work. Candidates must be dependable, have reliable personal transportation, and be comfortable working within the high standards expected in luxury home building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform skilled carpentry work including framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry installation, millwork, and other detailed work per project requirements.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, executing work in alignment with architectural specifications.

  • Collaborate closely with project managers, tradespeople, and other team members to maintain high standards and ensure seamless project progression.

  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe jobsite, following all safety protocols.

  • Manage materials and supplies on the jobsite, ensuring quality control and reducing waste.

  • Communicate proactively with team members to address any issues, adjust timelines, and solve problems effectively.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in residential or custom home construction.

  • Proficiency in advanced carpentry techniques, including framing, cabinetry, trim, and finishing.

  • Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and industry best practices.

  • Ability to read and follow detailed plans, specifications, and building codes.

  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality.

  • Reliable, personal transportation required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Mileage reimbursement: $0.70 per mile, to and from the job site as long as you work an 8 hour day

  • Competitive pay based on experience

Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, with overtime available if desired
